We have enrolled 10 students in our first year at The Sierra School. And we are thrilled to now welcome our newest student, Sofia-Victoria an 11 year old and sixth grader from La Paz. Sofia-Victoria has just moved to Todos Santos. A native Spanish speaker, Sofia-Victoria has traveled around Mexico, loves dance, cats and our Yoga class. Sofia-Victoria has quickly adapted well to our school and has been warmly welcomed by our students. She has participated in gardening and seed planting, in our school labor program, and has worked on note-taking and an oral presentation on Ancient Egypt in Spanish History class with Nataly. Sofia-Victoria has accepted the challenge to read The Diary of Anne Frank and is working hard in math and intensive English class! Sofia-Victoria is writing a non-fiction book like all of our students in Creative Writing this term. Sofia-Victoria's book on is on a favorite subject: cats!
