of Todos Santos

Soccer is one of the most popular sports around the world. At The Sierra School of Todos Santos (BCS), we play soccer as part of our twice weekly Physical Education program. We play at Las Tierritas, the local campo de futbol, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Monday mornings. Our trainer is named Marco Montaña. Marco is a local team soccer coach and a father of two kids. He is very interested in soccer and is a person who seeks to teach what he is knowledgeable and passionate about. Marco has lived in Todos Santos for years. Marco is a leader. I think it is important that we play soccer at The Sierra School of Todos Santos because it teaches us team work and healthy life habits. It is just another way that we learn outside of the classroom. Since the activity take place during the morning, it helps us wake up and do something healthy as I start my day. Here are some reasons why I think soccer is beneficial: it maintains health, fitness and endurance. It teaches coordination. This sport can provide an opportunity to increase confidence and self-esteem. In addition, soccer helps to reduce anxiety. Finally, it helps us increase our skills and concentration persistence and self-discipline. I also enjoy soccer because the sport teaches us the importance of teamwork. I do not really like working by myself. Since we have more teammates than last year, and we all know a bit about how to play soccer, this makes the activity more exciting. Why is teamwork important? Teamwork is important because rather than just playing by yourself, you rely and confide in each other and know you're not alone. We can all strengthen our weakness and become stronger team members. We can learn how it feels to work together as a team and be a captain (leader). This is the uniqueness of teamwork. Some people may be better at running and making goals, whereas others may be good at defending and passing.
I think we all enjoy our soccer class and we can all get better at it. My classmates agree.
