On the 29th of January 2016, the teachers and students of The Sierra School went to visit The Escuela Pacifica. We went for the “day of the chef”. On this day, all the parents of the EP kids made food and visitors to the school could buy some food.First, they changed our money for tickets or “coupons”. I remember that I one hot dog, one bag of popcorn and a concha. For people that don’t know what a concha is. A concha is a sweet bread in the shape of a scallop. That’s why its called concha. They also made smoothes, fruit coctail and more food. They didn't only serve cooked or prepared food. They also had vegetables for sale: peas, beans, arugula and strawberries. We went to these school because is a tiny school like us and we wanted to show our support and share who we are. We went to E.P to know about their program. Something that I really enjoyed about this day is that our friend Julian came to visit; Molly Lou and Fabrice organized this. Julian was previously at our school before the Hogar del Nino, the Todos Santos had to close.
